Word vomit week 8

The Words For this week are
Apple, crayon, wooden oar, maths textbook, rabbit

It happened during a Tuesday evening. I was sitting, leaning on an apple tree while thinking of the
laws of gravity. Unexpectedly an apple fell on my head. With the apple came a crayon. The crayon gave me enough chills to go down my spine then right back up. So like any other person would, I ate
the crayon. The moment the crayon went down my throat everything turned white. It was as if I was
traveling to another dimension. That would have been cool and all but anticlimactic all that was
happening was that I WAS TRIPPING BALLS. The first few minutes after eating the crayon was kind
of boring. But what happened after is when I got really stupid.
A rabbit waddled over to me, then slapped me across the face with a wooden oar. Then It started to
rain maths textbooks.

I liked that they made the witch actually look like a witch.
I didn't not like anything.

How to measure?

Spoons: To measure small amounts of ingredients. They come in different sizes, 1/8 tsp, 1/4 tsp, 1/2 tsp, 1 tsp, and one tbsp. They can be used to measure dry and wet ingredients. To measure dry ingredients you dip in the spoon and level it of with the back of a butter knife. To measure wet ingredients hold the spoon above the bowl and pour the liquid in until the spoon is full.

Measuring cup: you use to measure dry ingredients, for example, sugar, flour, and baking powder. Take a scoop out of a bigger container, then use the back of a butter knife and run it across the top to level the surface.

Measuring jug: You use to measure liquids. How you know the measurement is correct is by putting it on a flat stable surface (do not hold in your hands) and bend down so that your eyes are level with the top of the liquid. You will notice that the liquid is not perfectly flat. That is called a meniscus. You need to measure the bottom of the meniscus to get the correct measurement.
