Aim: to find out if a b.k burger has simple sugars
equipment:
bunsen burner
test tube (2)
benedict's and iodine solution
chips (2) b.k burger
method
1 place the food sample in the test tube.
2 place 5 drops if iodine/benedict's solution in the test tube.
3 heat up the test tube with the bunsen burner
Iodine benedicts
chips turns black
cheese everything turns yellow
meat turns black the solution turned green/yellow
guergin turns black and yellow
